You can get the fanciest house with the flashiest fixtures, but if it’s in the wrong spot it is not going to grow your wealth.
It’s not about whether you buy established or build new.
It’s about where you do it.
Hello everyone.
I’m Kate Hill and if you are ready to build real wealth through smart, no nonsense property decisions, you are absolutely in the right place.
So let’s get into it.
Today we are diving into why location still beats the build for long term growth.
So let’s be really real.
Property investors waste a lot of energy debating whether to build or buy established.
But that question completely to me misses the point.
You can build a brand new house with all the but whistles and bells, but if it’s in a stagnant area or the wrong location with no growth signals, then you’re going nowhere fast.
Jobs, infrastructure, population growth, low vacancy rates, these are all things that push up prices over time.
You can buy an ugly duckling in a booming location and watch it soar in value.
Or you can own a place in a dead end town that goes absolutely nowhere, even backwards.
The smart money chases fundamentals, not finishes.

I share lots of strategies and insights to help you grow long term wealth through smart property investment decisions.
It’s easy to fall in love with a new build.
Shiny kitchens, walk in pantries, media rooms, they look great on Instagram.
But future buyers and tenants are also looking at suburbs, stats, school zones, commute times, and lifestyles.
You need to combine your beautiful new build with those factors.
If your property ticks those boxes, then the build really or the way you do this becomes secondary.
Wealth comes from growth in your asset value.
It comes from choosing the right location, the right property type, and the right time to buy and the right buy in price.
A well located moderately moderately spec’d property will outperform a luxury build in a poor growth area every time.
Do not get caught up in granite benchtops and fancy lighting.
Focus always on the fundamentals.
Choose a location with long term growth signals and then make sure that the property suits the demand in that area.
And that is how you build real, real wealth.
Thank you so much for watching everyone.
